York Center (19 May 1911)

Dan Timerson and family were Loyal callers Thursday.

Miss Pearl Pease is working for Mrs. Grace Rowe.

Miss Hattie Athorp who has been assisting Mrs. Wella Beecher with the house work the past month, returned to her home at Stevens Point last week.

R. E. Lawrence and wife were Neillsville callers Friday.

May basket hangers are rather scarce around here this season.

There was a dance given by Will O’Brien in his new house last Saturday evening.

Harry Campbell looks rather lonely lately.  I wonder what the trouble can be.

Joseph Randorf and hired man were Loyal callers Thursday.

Seif & Stelloh of Neillsville came up Saturday and put lightning rods on Abram VandeBerg’s house.  Let it thunder and lightning now, who cares.

There was a large crowd out to the lecture Sun. eve.  A cordial invitation is extended to all to come and hear it.

Mrs. Huntley of Granton and Mrs. Sadie Lawrence were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Huntley Sunday.

Get your lightning rods of the Luethe Co., Neillsville
