Will Foemmel helped Truman Davis butcher a hog last week Thursday.

Mrs. Ackerman drove over to Mrs. Chas. Hayden’s one day last week after her carpet.

Mrs. Roy Lawrence and children came Saturday and stayed until Sunday with her mother Mrs. Huntley.

Arthur Lammers made a business trip to Christie, Friday.

Mrs. Herman Roehl and children took supper with Mrs. Effie Davis Thursday.

Will Roel and Robert Garbisch are helping Ed. Ackerman and H. Roehl haul rock.

Emil Krause and Elwin Root hauled hay from near Christman’s two days this week for Truman Davis.

Now girls don’t be as bashful as the boys, but just pop the question right away.  There are several boys just waiting for a chance.  Vic and Tom Krejci are working on their farm in Fremont and coming home to Ma every week for bread just because some girl won’t ask them if they can’t bake it the rest of their lives.  Emil Krause too is a little bashful.

The rumor that Forest Rowe and Grace Campbell were married Jan. 16 is false and without foundation.  We are asked to correct the statement which appeared in last weeks items.
