Alfred Porath left for Beloit last Monday.

 

Fred Cole was seen in our neighborhood last Monday.

 

Henry Porath visited at Wiesner’s Sunday.

 

August Krause spent Sunday at home.

 

Alice Smith visited with Norma Porath Sunday.

 

Oscar Bentz and Jim Krause were at Porath’s Sunday.

 

Urban Smith and Mable Shier spent Sunday at Albert Bentz’s.

 

Alfred Moldenhauer is staying at Porath’s during his mother’s absence at Chicago.

 

Emil Krause’s little dog Penny had the misfortune to be kicked by a horse.

 

E.J. Wiesner, Albert Porath, Frank Smith and Emil Krause entertained the wood sawyers last week.

 

Ed Wischulke and F. Wood have decided to petition the present administration to provide a ferry across the Cunningham during high water.

 

Mrs. Walter Moldenhauer left for the Hahnemann hospital in Chicago last week, and was operated on Saturday.  No further report of her condition has so far been received.

 

Mrs. B.F. Frazier is laid up with a lame back this week.  She was hit by a falling board while stooping to pick something from the barn floor.  She is slightly better at this writing.

 

Several of the friends and schoolmates of Raymond Smith dropped in on him Sunday evening in honor of his 15th birthday.  An enjoyable evening was spent in playing games, after which a fine supper was served.  After the rendering of a few airs by the Skeeter Park Orchestra the guests departed homeward.
