Abraham Vandeberg and family, Mrs. E.M. Lawrence, Earl, Wm. And Naomi Lawrence spent Sunday evening at John Lastofka’s.

 

Wm. Lawrence took some pictures of the school last Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Maggie Parrett took a business trip to Humbird Saturday, returning Monday.

 

Grace Rowe spent last Wednesday with Louis VandeBerg.

 

Forest Rowe sawed up a nice pile of wood for themselves on Thursday.

 

Jennie Fulwiler, Lillie VandeBerg, Lois VandeBerg, Edna Lawrence, olive Campbell, Ollie Shafter, Alice Soles, Jennie Graves and Grace Campbell were among those who were royally entertained at Frank Davis’s last Tuesday.

 

Allie turner and wife, and Mable and Grant Turner spent Sunday at Wm. Turner’s.

 

There will be a basket social at the school house in District No. 2 Friday night, march 14.  Come and have a good time.

 

Abbie Turner is doing some carpenter work for Mr. Knickle.

 

Walter Bros pressed hay for Geo. Mortimer and Nick Wierenzenski the latter part of last week.

 

Dan Timerson, Ernest Rowe, Wm. Livingston and Earl Lawrence helped John VandeBerg haul baled hay to Romadka on Monday.

 

Pearl Davis came over from Marshfield Saturday and is working for her sister, Mrs. Susie Benedict.

 

There was a cheese meeting at the York Center factory Saturday night.

 

Wm. Rowe returned Monday from his visit at Marinette County.

 

John VandeBerg is busy breaking a span of colts.

 

Thirteen of the neighbors gave Mrs. Sarah Lindsley a pleasant surprise Monday.  The occasion being her 73rd birthday, which fell due that day.  All enjoyed themselves.  Mrs. Lindsley received some nice presents.
