Richard Downer is hauling stones and logs for his brother, Frank’s new house.

 

Mrs. Joel Downer is recovering from her illness.

 

Miss Ruth Lee returned from Minneapolis Monday morning, where she has been assisting in the care of an aunt.

 

Mrs. Ed Coil and children visited at the home of her mother Sunday.

 

Miss Harriet Pietenpol spent Sunday with Miss Florence Converse.

 

Fred Handke and wife called at the home of Lue Smith Sunday afternoon.

 

Frank Johnson returned to Farleyton, Mont. Tuesday, after a three week visit to his home.

 

Miss Ora Davis gave a Washington program Friday afternoon.  It was very good, considering it the first time the children have had anything of the kind, and showed much patience on the part of the teacher.

 

Miss Annette Berg returned from her visit at Wausau.

 

Clarence Salisbury is again at Frank Jahr’s.  He intends to work for Frank all summer.

 

Clay Converse left for Dubuque Tuesday morning to visit his sister, Mrs. Price Beeckler.

 

Mrs. Gerlack’s mother, Mrs. Peterson, died at Marshfield on Sunday and was buried from the Presbyterian Church at Nasonville Wednesday.

 

Dr. Rath was called to see Mrs. Joe Wolcott Saturday.

 

Miss Beatrice Pietenpol spent Sunday with Maud Smith.
