Jaylene Carwin, daughter of Gene and Lyla Carwin, Fort Morgan, and Eric Kunze, son of Roger Kunze, Marshfield and Laurel Kunze, Ashland, were married August 6, 2011, at the Miramonte Lodge in Broomfield by pastor and friend of the couple Gary Arnohalt. 

 

The ceremony included special selections including a duet, "It’s Your Love" sung by Jessica and Tyler Empey, cousins of the groom from Colby. Friend of the bride, Elise Pauly, also performed "When You Say Nothing at All." LaJean Hertel, sister of the bride, read a special poem, "The Art of Marriage" by Wilfred A. Peterson. 

 

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father to Canon in D. She wore a strapless taffeta and tulle ball gown. The train was iridescent tulle accented with rhinestones and her one tier veil was adorned with pears. Her accessories included a pearl tiara, rhinestone earrings and necklace, her sister’s diamond bracelet and red high heels. She carried a bouquet of 18 red and yellow roses wrapped with a handkerchief of the broom’s late great grandma. 

 

The bridesmaids wore black tea length strapless gowns that were accented by red high heels that matched the shoes of the bride and carried bouquets of red roses and yellow Gerber daisies. 

 

Alicia Miller, Denver served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan McGinley and Beth Reitz from Denver, Becky Pomerleau from Fort Collins and Kristen Kunze, sister of the groom from Abbotsford.

 

The flower girl and ring bearer were Giana Marini and Chase Marini from Denver.

 

The groom wore a black suit with a silver and black tie accented by red suspenders and  Wisconsin Badger cuff links, a present from the bride.

 

The groomsmen all wore black suits with red and black ties and black suspenders.

 

Craig Kunze, brother of the bride from Abbotsford, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Phil Writz of Phillips, Kelvin Rachu of Natick, MA; Jim Carwin, brother of the bride, from Fort Morgan and Frank Buzzanca, from Denver. 

 

Ushers were Greg Carwin and Joe Carwin from Brush.

 

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Miramonte Lodge in Broomfield. The couple spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica.

 

They reside in Denver where the bride is the assistant director of project controls for MWH Global and the groom is the youth sports coordinator for the YMCA
