Obituary - 1916  Anna (Cornelius) Reichert

In Granton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Adam Reichert, born Cornelius, died after a lengthy illness, at the age of 63 years. Her husband, who passed away about 9 years ago, in Kiel he owned a store, and a potash and lime kiln on the lot where the F. Krieger’s home now stands. Later he managed a hardware store, which stood on the area that is now occupied by the Stoelting Brothers Company Building.  In the year 1880, he moved with his family to Potter, Wisconsin where he ran a hardware store for two years before he moved to Granton in Clark County, where he managed a store until his death.  The relatives of Mrs. Reichert who live in the area are Mr. Jacob Reichert and Adolph Henschel in Kiel, and George Reichert in the Town of Schleswig.  The burial took place on Thursday in Granton.
