Parrett Jack #3 (16 JAN 1855 - 9 JAN 1913)

Jack Parrett, an old and well known resident of the town of York (Clark Co., Wis.) died at his home last Thursday morning after an illness of many years duration.  Lung trouble, caused by repeated attacks of typhoid fever in his younger days is said to be the cause of his death.  Mr. Parrett was treasurer of the town of York for a number of terms until his condition became such that he could not attend the duties of that office any longer.  He was an honored member of Neillsville Lodge No. 163, and of Wilcox Camp No. 3950, M.W.A., and the funeral was held last Sunday under the auspices of the above orders, interment being made in the Neillsville Cemetery.  Deceased leaves a wife and five children.
