Granton (4 April 1963)

Word has been received by friends here that a daughter was born to the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Oswald of Webster City, Ia., March 24.  The Rev. Mr. Oswald is a former pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. They are the parents of four other children.

Mrs. Charles Barr and Mrs. George Church of Neillsville were overnight guests of Mrs. Elsie Nowack one night last week.

Mrs. Renata Rounsville and granddaughter, Sharon Elmhorst of Minneapolis, Minn., visited Friday and Saturday at the E. L. Witte home and with her father, H. C. Witte, at Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. R. R. Rath, who has been a patient in Marshfield for the last three weeks, was moved Wednesday to a hospital in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hanson and son of Marshfield visited Saturday at the Ray Hoeft home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoeft and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kurth plan to spend the weekend in Minneapolis at the Ice Follies and sports show.
