Foemmel’s Corners (24 March 1911)

 

Mrs. Bush Davis of Loyal visited friends and relatives here last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nonhof did shopping in Neillsville Monday.

 

Truman Davis and Mr. Fradette surveyed out the line between their forties on Tuesday.

 

Frank Krejci bought a two year old colt which he intends to use for a driver.

 

Frank Davis and son Harry took dinner at Truman Davis’ last Sat. and while there bought Harry a yearling colt.

 

Chas Hayden moved onto the Cash Ide farm where he will work for a while.

 

Lydia Krause spent Sunday afternoon with Lucile Davis.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Breese, Mr. Nichols, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Bush and Truman Davis were among those invited to eat warm sugar at Henry Lawson’s last Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cattanah spent Sunday at Hefty’s.

 

Mr. Fred Foemmel Sr. bought a Holstein bull calf of Al Nonhof.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nonhof attended the Circle dinner at Henry Pietenpol’s Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Dankemyer went back to her home near Chili, Tuesday.

 

A few of Mrs. Cattanach’s friends gave her a pleasant surprise on her 18th birthday last week Thursday.

 

Dr. and Mrs. Schwarz spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Rella Osgood.

 

Miss Ora Davis will give a shadow social Friday evening at the school house.  Ladies are requested to furnish lunch for two.
