Neillsville Locals (7 March 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bruhn spent Sunday with Mrs. Bruhn’s mother, Mrs. Lillian Schweinler, in Beloit. Also there were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lynch of Beloit and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schweinler of Elm Grove.

 

Mrs. Garald Hart entertained at Sunday dinner in honor of the observance of Mr. Hart’s birthday. Guests were the Harry Bedell, Kenneth Burr and Tom Hart families.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Gault and children and Alvina Gault spent the weekend in Gary, Ind., with the Gene Gault family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bush and family of Milwaukee spent from Friday to Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wasserburger, returning to Milwaukee Sunday.

 

Mrs. Mildred Tanner has left on a three to four month tour of the Middle East.

 

Luann Hubing and fiancé, of Chicago, Ill., spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hubing.  Mr. and Mrs. Hubing took them to Eau Claire where they boarded a plane for Chicago.

 

Mrs. M. V. Overman was in Rice Lake Monday, where she spoke on the blood program before the Hospital guild.

 

Mrs. George Reams is spending the winter in Chicago, Ill., with her daughters and their families.

 

Mrs. Harold Evanson and Louis Zank of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Francis Suckow of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zank, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Zank visited Saturday at the Walter Zank home with their mother, Mrs. Emma Zank.

 

Monday supper guests at the Lewis Scholtz home were Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gassen and John.  Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kunze and family visited there later in the evening and viewed slides shown by Mrs. Gassen.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz visited Friday with his sister, Mrs. Albert Gall, in Arpin.

 

Mrs. Rose Hopkins of Waukesha, who has been with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Eggiman, since the death of her brother, Ray Eggiman; left last week to spend a few days with relatives in Marshfield before returning to Waukesha.

 

Rev. and Mrs. E. R. Sommerfeld and his sister, Mrs. Fred Zone of Wisconsin Rapids, visited Saturday with the Leonard Wachholz family and were present at the judging of the art contest.  Both Mrs. Zone and the Rev. Sommerfeld had entries in the contest.
