Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson entertained Sunday in honor of the birthdays of their sons, Clifford 9, and Duane 5.  Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sternitzky, Jr., and family, and Mrs. Lillie Porath.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwanebeck, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Schwanebeck and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Schwanebeck and family, Sherwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz and family were Sunday guests of the Albert Hasz home in honor of the sixth birthday of their son, LeRoy.

 

Neil Riedel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Riedel, Nasonville, has been a patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville since Friday.  Neil will be at the hospital for some time; he will be 11 February 14.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Schwantes, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hasz, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sternitzky, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger and Mr. Kalsow attended the Lutheran laymen’s meeting at Richfield Tuesday evening.  Guest speaker was the Rev. Muehl of Auburndale.  He talked about his experiences as visiting pastor at the Green Bay reformatory.  The spring rally will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Granton on March 24.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Landwehr and family of Abbotsford were Sunday guests at the Louis Winter home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Don Riedel and son, Eau Claire visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Riedel last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Braatz, Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. William Foote, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gotter, Loyal, and Arno Gotter helped Mrs. Ella Schlinsog, Granton, celebrate her birthday Sunday.

 

Mrs. Arthur Short is a hospital patient in Marshfield.  Her daughter, Elaine Short of Milwaukee is staying with her.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky visited Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sternitzky in Loyal Sunday.
