Lang, Ronald P. (23 MAY 1945 - 24 JUL 1981)

 

Ronald P. Lang, 36, of Superior, Wis., a former Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, was fatally injured in an automobile accident early Friday morning, July 24, 1981, in Superior.  He was struck by an automobile while crossing a street in that city and was pronounced dead at 4:12 a.m. in St. Mary’s Hospital, Superior.

 

Funeral services were held Monday, July 27, at 1:00 p.m. in the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.  Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.  Rev. Margaret Shepherd, United Church of Christ, Congregational church minister, officiated.  The remains had been in state at the Maurian Funeral Home since Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

 

Ronald P. Lang, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lang, was born May 23, 1945, in Chicago, Ill.  He moved to the Withee community when a young man, attended Withee area schools and was employed in this community.  He later moved to Marshfield and two years ago became employed at Superior.

 

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nelda Lang of Marshfield; a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Roxanne) Hanson of Addison, Ill.; two brothers, Larry of Spencer and William of Greenwood; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Emmerson of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Nourse of Owen.  His father, Edwin preceded him in death.
