Foemmel’s Corners (3 February 1911)

 

Mrs. Krejci and daughter Mary called on Mrs. Effie Davis Friday afternoon.

 

The necktie sociable at Mrs. Heyders Saturday evening was well attended.

 

John Pietenpol and family Sundayed a W. S. Davis’

 

Mrs. Harsh of Sheboygan and daughter from Loyal visited at the W. J. Davis home and called on Geo. Glover at the factory Friday. 

 

Sheriff Bradford, Ernest McIntyre and Mr. Neinas were seen on our streets Sunday looking hour.

 

Albert Mabie and family spent Sunday at Alvin Nonhof’s.

 

Mrs. Nonhof was somewhat under the weather the first of the week.

 

Truman Davis, wife, and Geo Glover drove over and called on Mr. and Mrs. Breese last Sunday.

 

Mr. Holverson and friend drove thru here Monday looking for young horses.

 

Carl Loeffler and Mr. Sternitzky called at the Gottlieb Krause home Sunday.

 

Truman Davis and family and Mr. Glover spent Tuesday evening at John Pietenpol’s.

 

We wish to ask Master Theron Daughhetee’s pardon for not giving an account of his birthday party in last week’s issue.  He gave a party to about 18 of his little school mates and his mother served a lovely supper to which all did ample justice, and wished Theron would have a party every week.

 

Mrs. Cattanah spent Tuesday afternoon with her mother, Mrs. Hefty.

 

A party was held at the W. D. Rose Tuesday evening.

 

Velda Heyder assisted Miss Abbie Ide with her household duties several days last week.
