Roberts, Alexander G. "Alex" (2 MAY 2011 - 31 AUG 2011)

 

Alexander "Alex" Gregory Roberts, of Granton was born May 2, 2011, in Wauwatosa and became an angel on August 31, 2011. He was born the son of Gregory and Melanie (Wyman) Roberts at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa and with parents and family at his side, Alex underwent several surgeries and procedures. 

He is survived by his loving and devoted parents Gregory and Melanie Roberts of Granton; his sister Melissa and his brother Zachary both of Granton; his maternal grandparents, Cindy Wyman of Marshfield and Wayne Wyman of Auburndale and his paternal grandparents, Veronica and Steven Roberts of Marshfield. Alex is further survived by his maternal great-grandparents, Leonard and Eleanor Schoenfuss of Stratford and Wilma Wyman of Auburndale; his paternal great-grandparents, Mary and Eugene Gillitzer of Prairie du Chien and Janice Roberts of Eastman along with many aunts and uncles, friends and supporters. Though Alex was with us only a short time, his life impacted hundreds who cared and supported his family.

Alex was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Vernon Wyman and Keith Roberts.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in the town of Green Valley, located six miles east of Rozellville on County Road C, on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011. The Rev. Terry Schneider will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Acting as his pallbearers will be, Kirk Hansen and Dave Sutton. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Spencer and on Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until time of services.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the cardiac intensive care unit (3 West) at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.
