Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beaver visited friends at Loyal, Sunday.

Frank Dankemeyer visited relatives at Chili, Saturday.

Miss Allie Canfield has accepted a clerkship in P.J. Kemmeter’s Store.

Mr. and Mrs. Luedke of Loyal visited friends in town Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Reichert of Chili visited relatives and friends here over Sunday.

Mrs. J.H. White of Marshfield visited her friend, Mrs. F.J. Baer here last Friday and Saturday.

John P. Kintzele left for Milwaukee Monday morning, going on a business trip.

Mrs. Hattie Sutherland left here Sunday morning for Rice Lake where she will make an extended sojourn.

Mrs. Charles Lapham and daughter Marjorie of New York arrived here last Friday for a month’s visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Tompkins.

Mrs. Warren McLaughlin and little 3 week old son Clifton Arthur visited town friends here one day late last week.

Mrs. Dave Garbush and two children left Saturday morning for Plymouth; going on a two week visit to her parents who reside there.

Mrs. John Henning of Marshfield and Mrs. Herman Henning of Chili were guests at Peter Stallman’s here last Friday.

Mrs. Levi Morris and children, and Miss Lulu Beecher and little niece Frances Leach spent last Friday at Neillsville.

Otto Sharman of Marshfield came over last Friday and "autoed" with A.J. Knorr here an hour or so.

Ferdinand Reichert and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gerber and children drove to Loyal on Sunday for a visit with friends there.

The Ladies’ Aid of Rev. Hass’ Parish will meet with Miss Bertha Riedel next Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. P.J. Flint returned late last week from a 10 day visit at her brother’s in Colby.

Miss Huldah Sultrich has accepted a position at the Forest House, and entered upon her new duties early this week.

Mrs. Huff came down from the W.P. Budge farm Wednesday to spend the balance of the week here in her town residence, visit friends and enjoy a good Circle eat.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin A. Konshak arrived here Saturday from Valley Junction, Iowa, called here on account of the serious illness of his brother Warren.  They will remains with the bereaved family for 2 weeks.

Word was received here late last week to the effect that Andrew Paulson and wife Ane C. Paulson, of Rolla, Mo., had been called upon to mourn the death of their beloved little 6 ½ years old son Erwin Amel, who had died of stomach trouble there on Friday, Sept. 22, 1905, after a 10 day illness.  The funeral was held from the home the next day with Elder Romaine of the Christian Church officiating.

Noble Downer was down the line last Saturday.

Miss Addie Davis visited friends near Chili Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eide of Fremont were over on business Wed.

Emma Neinas visited her aunt, Mrs. Chas Neinas, here several days this week, returning home yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Schroeder spent Sunday with relatives at Shortville.

Byrl and Clifford Winn purchased two fox hounds of S. Hornbeck one day last week.

Mamie Donahue and Adolphus Drake took in the dance at Lynn Sat. evening.

John Krizer of Belgium was here and gathered up a car of stock which he shipped home on Saturday.

Darick G. Babcock and Ed Waterman of Washburn transacted business here Wednesday.

Williams & Wonser shipped 3 cars of stock to Chicago Saturday.  Williams saw them through.  Kurth & Davis also shipped 3 cars and Truman Davis accompanied them down.

Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Marsh, little son Joe, and Mrs. Marsh’s mother, Mrs. Covey, autoed over to Marshfield Wednesday, going back yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Knorr went to Greenwood Tuesday in their auto to attend the carnival.

Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Kolsta and their 2 children of Fond du Lac arrived here Saturday evening for a short visit at Dr. F.A. Soles’.  Mr. Kolsta is a brother of Mrs. Soles.

Truman Davis and H.E. Williams returned Tuesday from a several days sojourn at Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. John Breese, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stallman, Mrs. Jose Lapp and Mrs. F.J. Baer were Neillsville visitors Tuesday.

Mrs. S.G. Hornbeck of this place, together with Mrs. R.T. Washburn of Lynn, were Neillsville visitors on Wednesday.

Carter Waring left for Chicago last evening, he goes to enter the employ of Dr. Frank T. Conroy, late of Neillsville.

Miss Blanche Crocker of Neillsville came out early Tuesday morning and spent the Blanche of the week in assisting cashier W.S. Davis at the bank here.  Blanche returns home nightly.

W.S. Davis has purchased the H.E. Williams place on the north side of town and is nicely settled therein, moving last week.

Last Sunday Earl Marsh, Raymond Hornbeck, Milton Page, Hattie King, Mable Lokken and Ethel Hart drove down to the watermelon patch south of Neillsville and enjoyed a picnic dinner and a day’s outing.

Master Ralph Marsh, while pounding up glass in play upon a flat car near the depot early this week, had a small piece fly into his eye, causing a very painful injury from which he is still suffering and kept from school.

Chester Finnegan, while cutting shrubs Tuesday morning, let the knife slip and cut his hand, putting the use of the hand out of the question for several days.

Dr. F.A. Soles went to Chicago last week Thursday with Carl Tischer and Wella Beecher and saw them undergo operations at Hahnneman Hospital.  Doc returned home Sunday morning and reported the boys as having undergone their operations and doing nicely.

T.P. King of Fond du Lac arrived here Tuesday for a visit at his son Homer’s.

Mrs. Hal Cole went to Black River Falls Monday on a visit to relatives.

The Circle "eat" and meet at Mrs. Dan Rausch’s was a hummer.  Immense crown and supper, and while the crowd expanded the supper diminished.  The proceeds netted $6.16.

Ladies can find anything they want in Furs at W.J. Marsh Dry Good Co.  Fur sale next Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

Milton Page drove to Lindsey Tuesday with a traveling salesman.

Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Lee drove out and visited at Hi Renne’s near Spokeville, Tuesday.

Mr. A. Rosenberg of Outagamie County is visiting at Mrs. F.H. Peters’ this week.

Vernie Wright drove to Loyal Tuesday, making a business trip for Hank Lapp.

Miss Louise Luger of Chicago, a cousin of the David Konshak children, arrived here Sunday a.m.
