Foemmel’s Corners (15 July 1910)

 

Miss Emma Krejci returned home last week from a two weeks visit at Milwaukee.

 

John Kintzele and sons called at Truman Davis’ to re-insure his property.

 

We are always thankful for small favors, so although we got only a little rain Saturday we appreciated it.

 

Mr. Eggiman was thru here the first of the week buying Jersey cows.

 

The Misses Elsie, Clara, Amelia and Lydia Krause, Maria Davis, Emil Krause and John Frasier spent Sunday evening at Frank Krejci’s.

 

Al Nonhof and family, Truman Davis, John Pietenpol and their families attended the picnic in Ell Lee’s grove.

 

Lloyd Kimball finished his work at Truman Davis’.  He intends to go to St. Paul Sunday.

 

Miss Eggiman spent several days here with her friend Mrs. Harry Cattanah.

 

Lillie Ackerman is assisting her sister Mrs. Herman Roehl with her household duties and in caring for the new baby.

 

The masons that are at work on the bridge near the factory are boarding with Mrs. E. Ackerman.

 

Arthur Heyder is home to help thru haying.

 

Mrs. Frei and two of Mrs. Ackerman’s daughters had dental work done in Neillsville the first of the week.

 

Truman Davis and family spent Tuesday evening at John Breese’s.  Mr. Breese has the addition to his house quite well along.
