Neillsville Locals (9 August 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Benson returned home Monday from a weekend visit in Eau Claire with Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Benson and with Mrs. Benson’s nieces, Mrs. T. S. Lefstad and Mrs. John Nooney and family in Wheeler.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Flynn, Jr., of Oshkosh spent the weekend at the John Flynn, Sr., and Elwyn Baker homes. Mrs. Flynn remained and is spending this week at the parental homes.  She recently completed summer school.

 

Mrs. Anna Clark, Minneapolis, Minn., and her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson of Woodville were weekend guest s at the Ernest (missing name here).

 

Mrs. Robert Langreck underwent major surgery last week in a Marshfield hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ratsch of the Town of York have purchased the Adlynn Acres farm from her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, and have taken possession.  Mr. and Mrs. Johnson plan to spend the winter in Ariz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Urban, Sr., of Sturgeon Bay were weekend visitors at the Robert and Joe Urban, Jr. homes.

 

Frank Kurtinitis, 98, the oldest patient in the Subke Nursing Home, was moved Tuesday morning to Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Kurtinitis came to Neillsville from Thorp at the time Mr. and Mrs. George Beeckler managed the home on Hewett Street.

 

Mrs. Ann Schoenherr and Mrs. Fred Schoenherr of Custer, Mich., and Mrs. Augusta Tuttle of Ludington , Mich., visited last weekend with Mrs. Rosalie Haderer in Neillsville at the Lee Mills, George and Harold Thoma and Mrs. Herman Schoenherr homes in Weston and Seif.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beyer and daughter, Birdie Rae, of Fond du Lac visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Buddenhagen.

 

Miss Andy Beauchat of Utica, Mich., is visiting this week at the Warren Huddleston home.
