Pine Valley (7 June 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Luedke of Neshkoro visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tews last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Marg entertained relatives at their home last weekend. The men assisted in grading the new lawn.  Guests included: Walter Beyer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Tews and Luann of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Suckow of the Town of Grant; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marg and Carolyn of Pine Valley.

 

Donald Pflughoeft carried mail for Donald Kalsow on rural route 1 last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Novak and children of Bruce Mound were weekend visitors at the Albert Mohr home.

 

Lila and Iris Bieneck entertained patients at the Sunset Nursing Home in Fairchild Friday afternoon with musical numbers.  Clark County patients in the home include: Mrs. Minnie Murphy of Neillsville; Mrs. Elsena Hart, Mrs. Martha Simons, and Leonard Young of Humbird.  Mr. and Mrs. George May furnished the transportation.  There are 70 patients.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Albrecht visited Mr. and Mrs. Richard Albrecht last weekend.  They have recently moved from Washington D. C. to Eau Claire.

 

Mrs. Merline Peacock and sons, Daniel and Thomas, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Naedler, last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Deuel and son, David, were weekend visitors at the Gordon Sharratt home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Meredith of Pine Valley and their granddaughters, Lisa Jenni and Tracey Meredith, of Neillsville, visited Sunday and Monday at the John Flitter home in St. Paul.
