Greenwood (31 May 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Vernard Swieso and children of Burlington spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Walter Swieso.  They left Sunday afternoon to visit relatives in Neillsville.

 

Members of the Neighborhood club were entertained Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Arnold Beyer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Wallick and family went to Minneapolis Satruday, where they met his sister, Mrs. John McCowan, who arrived by plane from Santa Barbara, Calif. She will spend some time at the Wallick home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Caliebe spent from Saturday until Monday in Appleton, where they visited his sister and a niece, who are patients in a hospital there, and with other relatives. They were accompanied by their grandsons, James and Kurt Caliebe, and by his brother, Leonard Caliebe, of Dixon, Calif., who spent a week at the Caliebe home.  He will visit relatives in Appleton before returning to California.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie spent from Satruday until Monday at the Edwin Nelson home in Ogdenburg, and with other relatives.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Garth Haeuser arrived Monday from Torrance, Calif., for a visit with his father, George Haeuser, and with his sister, Mrs. Bernard Denk. 

 

Mrs. John Brezic is spending some time with relatives in Sheboygan.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beyer and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath visited friends in Alma Center Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoffman and family have moved from the Kaltinger residence into their cottage at Mead Lake.
