Poelzel, Patricia C. (Marriage –28 April 1962)

Nuptial vows were repeated Saturday in the Zion American Lutheran Church, Town of Grant, by Miss Patricia C. Poelzel, Rt. 3, Neillsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Poelzel, and Frederick W. Finck, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Finck, Sr., Rt. 2, Granton. The Rev. Evan Dieck performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white waltz length gown of nylon over net and taffeta. The full, bouffant skirt was attached to a fitted bodice, styled with a deep "V" neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves. The waistline was encircled with a satin sash.  Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion billowed from a pearl and sequin-studded crown. She carried a bouquet of small red carnations and white hyacinths, centered with a large red carnation.

Miss Helen Kuzjak served as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Shirley Finck and Miss Jean Franke. All are from Neillsville. They wore identically styled gowns of blue nylon over net and taffeta, with face length veils of blue nylon net secured to crowns of blue nylon and crystals. Their bouquets were small yellow roses surrounded by yellow and white carnations.

John Franke, Neillsville, served as best man. Groomsmen were Elmer Finck of Granton and Spencer Blum of Neillsville. Ushers were Jerry Pretsch of Neillsville and Donald Finck of Gilberts, Ill.  Music was played by Miss Eileen Zank.

The bride is a 1961 graduate of Neillsville High School and has been employed in the First National Bank in Neillsville.  The groom attended schools in Woodstock, Ill, and is employed in the Muffler plant in Neillsville.  They are residing in Granton.
