Radtke, Evelyn M. (22 MAR 1941)

(from the Eau Claire Leader)

A beautiful church wedding was held at the Epiphany Lutheran Church Saturday, March 22, 1941, at 4:30 o’clock, when Evelyn M. Radtke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Radtke of Eau Claire, became the bride of Miles D. Creviston, son of Mrs. Sadie Creviston, town of Union, the Rev. F.J. Werth performing the ceremony.

Mrs. Arthur Dahl played the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin.  Mrs. Paul Bailey sang, "O Promise Me" before, and "I Love Your Truly" after the ceremony.

A reception as held at the home of the bride’s parents, 204 S. Ninth St., following the ceremony.  Covers were laid for 35 guests.  The three-tier wedding cake adorned the table with decorations being carried out in pink, white and yellow.

The newlyweds will make their home in Eau Claire.
