Pribbernow, Alvin Sr. (20 JUN 1896 - 28 AUG 1960)

 

Funeral services were conducted for Alvin Pribbernow Sr. Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 30th from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.  The Rev. Myhrwold of Greenwood officiated at the final rites with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Fred and Joe Brandt, Earl Ruesch, Elmer Venet, Savory Sesniak and Sidney Swenson.  In charge of the floral offerings were Sally and JoAnn Sesniak, Fay Pribbernow, Shirley and Pat Santala, Judy Pribbernow and R. Buss.

 

Alvin Herman Pribbernow, age 64, passed away August 28th, 1960 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he was a medical patient.  He was born June 20, 1896 in the Town of Green Grove (Clark County, Wis.) and since 1925 had been a resident of Clark County, being engaged in the vocations of farming and blacksmithing.  Previous to settling on his present farm on route 1, Withee, he had lived at Neillsville and Curtiss.

 

His passing is mourned by his wife, the former Martha Hanneman, whom he married Aug. 20th, 1918, in a ceremony performed at Marinette, Wis., three sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Evelyn) Sesniak, Mrs. Eugene (Lucille) Santala, and Mrs. Frank (Betty) Halida.  All residents of route 1, Withee; seven brothers, Rueben, Marshfield, Earl, Milwaukee, Charles and Alvin, rural Owen, Ben and Don of rural Withee and Robert whose residence is in Montana and 23 grandchildren.
