The Fate of Christ. Mayeleth, Son-in-Law of Geo. Amman

 

Mr. George Amman of this city has received a letter informing him that his son-in-law, Christ. Mayeleth, was shot while at work on a farm near Greenwood, Wis., on the 4th inst.  He was instantly killed, the bullet entering his brain.  It is not definitely known who committed the crime, but a man has been arrested on suspicion.

 

Mr. Mayeleth leaves a wife and five children in destitute circumstances.  A number of years ago the family made their home in the of Cross, Wisconsin.
