Steager, Anna (8 January 1880 - 29 November 1961)
Funeral services were held December 1, for Mrs. Anna Steager, 81, who died in the Stanley hospital of a stroke November 29.
Mrs. Steager, who had been in somewhat failing health, lived on the farm of her only son, Peter, northwest of Withee.
Formerly Anna Bruchert, she was born in Germany January 8, 1880.
She came in early life to this country and lived for some time at Glenwood City, later moving to Withee; where on June 28, 1899, she was married to Jacob Steiger.
The Rev. Beryl Knudsen officiated at the funeral.
