Kramer, Ruth E. (Peterson) (January 1, 1929 - January 17, 2011)

 

Ruth E. Kramer, age 82, of Abbotsford passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at her residence in Abbotsford.


Ruth was born January 1, 1929, in Superior, to Albert and Ina (Erickson) Peterson. She was a graduate of Unity High School. Her marriage to Earl Kramer took place May 24, 1947, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity.


Ruth worked for 37 years at the Packaging Corporation of America in Colby, a couple of years for the Cedar Crest Motel in Abbotsford and later 15 years for the Tribune Phonograph newspaper in Abbotsford.


She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. Ruth enjoyed reading and tending to her flower garden.


Ruth will be dearly missed by her daughters, Diana (Dennis) Marmitt of Phillips, Kathleen (Alan) Schmidt of Windsor, Judith (Dennis) Budimlija of Rib Lake and Sharon (Jeff Brady) Miller of Saint Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Shane Schmidt, Chad Schmidt, Jennifer Peterson, Brad Budimlija; great-grandchildren, Bianca Peterson, Brent Peterson and Riley Eisner.


Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl on December 10, 1993; one brother; one sister; and two son-in-laws.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 22, at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford with Reverend Jerome Freimuth officiating. Burial will be at Christ Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Holton. Visitation will from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at the church on Saturday.


The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
