Bauer, David  (18 SEPT. 1966-22 FEB 2011)

 

David A. Bauer, 44, Spencer, went to be with Jesus, on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 25, at Christ The King Catholic Church, Spencer. Rev. Charles Stoetzel officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery.

 

David A. Bauer was born on Sept. 18, 1966, in Marshfield, the youngest son of George Jr. and Esther (nee Gennett) Bauer. He attended Colby, Owen and Loyal TMR until graduating in 1987. He helped operate the family farm and worked at the Spencer IGA, ODC, and with the Supported Employment Program. He loved to dance, bowl, play Uno, and take trips to the casino. He liked the Fonze and was an avid WWF and Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed watching "The Young & The Restless: and eating at Chips, McDonalds, or KFC. He will always be remembered for his practical jokes and for the Eskimo kisses shared with his mother.

 

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Esther; eight siblings, Barbara (John) Albee, Caro; Jean (Gerald) Weideman, Brenda Bauer, Jane Draeger, Deborah (Randol) Wong, Randall Bauer, Tammy (Scott) Tyznik, and Douglas (Sue) Bauer; 32 nieces and nephews; 23 great- nieces and great-nephews; and many friends. He will truly be missed.

 

Preceding him in death were his father, George Bauer Jr.; a brother, Gerald M. Bauer; grandparents, Mark and Monica Gennett and George and Adeline Bauer, a neice, Samantha Tyznik; and a brother-in-law, William Klun.
