Selk, Charles L. (1 June 1899 - 2 October 1961)

 

Funeral services will be held from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton at 2 p.m. today for Charles L. Selk, 62, who died at his home in Chili Monday afternoon.

 

The Rev. L. L. McCormick of Immanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church of Chili will be in charge and burial will be made in Yolo Cemetery.

 

Mr. Selk, a brother of August Selk of Neillsville, was born June 1, 1899, in Sollitt, Ill.  He was a Veteran of World War I, and had lived in Chili for the last 35 years.

 

In addition to his brother, other survivors include: his mother, Mrs. Minnie Selk of Chili; four sisters, Mrs. William Behling of Chili; Mrs. H. B. Muir and Mrs. Luella Deichsel, both of Marshfield, and Mrs. A. J. Rab of Chicago Heights, Ill.; another brother George of Chili and a nephew Ronald Selk, of Chili.
