Weston Twp. (14 September 1961)

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mashin and family of Marengo, Ill., William Schulz and Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin of the Town of Hewett were supper guests at the Carl Eslinger home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eslinger and Mr. and Mrs. Coy Hilliard and Kevin Sunday attended the centennial celebration of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Mishicot and a reunion of Confirmands since 1911.  Mr. Eslinger was in this group.

An 89^th birthday celebration was enjoyed by Michael Eslinger Wednesday at the Owen Nursing Home.  Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eslinger, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Hillard and Kevin, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pozega of the Town of Weston; Mrs. Theresa Hart of White Bear Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Herbert Seelow and David of Stratford.

Mrs. Theresa Hart, who had been visiting in the area, has returned to White Bear Lake, Minn.

Mrs. Robert Richmond drove to Menomonie Thursday with her daughter, Sherry, who enrolled for her third year in Stout State College. Sherry, Mary Ann Halle and Joan Schultz, all students there, spent the weekend at home.

The Rev. and Mrs. J. G. Ruege are visiting at the homes of their sons, Paul in Milwaukee and John in Slinger, this week.
