Votava, James #2 (19 July 1895 - 24 July 1961)

A requiem high mass was read Thursday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for James Votava, 66, Neillsville, who died July 24 at his home of a heart attack. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Kammerer, Carl Kessler, Robert Opelt, Leo, Pflughoeft, Tom Yndogliato and Frank Zank.

Out of town people here for the service were: Mr. and Mrs. James Votava and family, Glenbeulah; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Risch and family, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Behr, Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bartelt and family, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zugich and family, Sturtevant; Mrs. Mary Schlais, Mrs. Charles Paur, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Strankman, Medford.
