Pickett, Earl (4 JUL 1888 - 17 SEP 1955)

 

The Rev. Harvey Schall, pastor, conducted services in the Methodist Church, Spencer, at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon for Earl Pickett, who died shortly before noon Saturday at his home on route 1 in the town of Unity, Clark Co. (Wis.) .  He was 67 years of age.

 

Following services, burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

 

Mr. Pickett, who had been in ill health since his retirement from farming six years ago, lived his entire life on a farm in the town of Unity.  He was born there July 4, 1888.  His marriage to Miss Theresa Beeckler took place at Granton, May 14, 1910.

 

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Rex Pickett, Loyal; Jack Picket at home; two daughters, Miss Ione Pickett, Loyal; Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Spry, Granton; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Seefeldt, Spencer; Mrs. Roy Towers, Baraboo; two brothers, Jesse, Merrillan; frank, route 1, Spencer, and five grandchildren.  One brother preceded him in death.
