Christie, Wisconsin (20 April 1961)
Mrs. Lisle Armitage was elected president of the Women’s Society of Christian Service of Christie Methodist Church last week Wednesday evening at the Jess Richmond, Sr. home. Mrs. George Schaefer was elected vice president; Mrs. Ed Anderegg, secretary, and Mrs. Steve Tichy, treasurer.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Schultz returned last week from a nine-day trip to Florida. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schultz of Hampshire, Ill. They visited relatives in Fort Wayne, Ind., Atlanta, Ga., and the Kellers in Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Bennett and family of Wisconsin Rapids visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. George Schaefer.
