Granton, Wisconsin (26 January –1961)

 

The Ladies Aid of the Zion Lutheran Church will meet Wednesday afternoon in the church.  Hostesses will be Mrs. William Naedler, Sr., Mrs. Dan Nickel and Mrs. Ray Nickel.  The Rev. L. E. Schreiber’s topic will be "L. W. M. L. Mission Topic."  Visitors will be welcome.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Schmitz and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sternitzky and Stanley Sternitzky and daughter were Sunday dinner guests at the Clarence Sternitzky home.

 

Mrs. Elsie Nowack spent three days last week at the Charles Barr home in Neillsville, and Mrs. George Church on Rt. 2, Neillsville, in Pine Valley.

 

Mrs. Ray Nowack, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Quicker and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Montgomery attended a card party Saturday evening at the Harry Schlinsog home in Loyal.

 

Mrs. Ray Nowack, Mrs. R. Quicker and Mrs. Schaefer were guest of Mrs. Elsie Nowack Saturday afternoon.

 

Robert Schumacher, Madison, is spending between-semester vacation at the DR. Victor Tharp home.  He is a second year medial student at the university.
