Baehr, Alma (19 FEB 1890 - 29 NOV 1961)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. George Baehr, 71, of route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Wednesday night, were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, Saturday afternoon.  The Rev. H. Ttimmerman officiated at the 2 o’clock services, after which interment was made in Riverside Ceremony.

 

The former Alma Parge was born in Dorchester, Feb. 19, 1890, and lived at Withee since her marriage to George Baehr on April 15, 1912.

 

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Vernon and Earl of Withee, and Elmer of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Toivo Nevala, Thorp; Mrs. Lorraine Knoppel, Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Radamacher of Illinois; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Ewert, Fond du Lac, and two brothers, Charles Parge of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Otto Parge of Creston, British Columbia, Canada.

 

She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

 

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were from Calgary, Fond du Lac, Marshfield, Thorp, Dorchester, Abbotsford, Owen and Illiinois.
