Bauer, William (abt.1866 -21 OCT 1949)

 

William Bauer of Robbinsdale, Minn., passed away on Friday, Oct. 21. He was a resident of Loyal for many years, and in 1910 he moved to Montana, where he lived until 1921. Since then he has lived in Minnesota. In the past he has lived in Minnesota. In the past few years many trips were made to Loyal to visit his numerous friends and relatives here.

 

Mr. Bauer married Mary Domine on May 3, 1892, and to this union seven children were born. Mr. Bauer was 83 years old at the time of his passing, and he is survived by his widow, Mary, two sons, Arnild J. of  Anoka, Minn., and Cyrill A. of Minneapolis, three daughters, Esther Smith of Glendive, Mont., Marcella Mayer of Hancock, Minn., and Theodosia Carey of Robbinsdale; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank of Loyal and Tony of Pennsylvia and two sisters, Margaret Klimmer of Loyal and Kate Young of Oregon City, Ore.

 

Those from out of town attending the funeral in Robbinsdale on Oct. 24 included John Domine and Effie Neipert of Waterloo, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Domine and Mr. and Mrs. Manual Domine of Loyal and Mrs. Ben Schwellenbach of Christie.

 

Pallbearers were Arnold A. William, M. Sylvan, B. and Robert J. Bauer of Anoka, Harland Mayer of Chicago and Edward Lynch of Minneapolis. Mr. Bauer was laid to rest in the Calgary cemetery at Anoka.
