Hagenson, Mary (9 AUG 1865 - 9 NOV 1957)

 

Mrs. Martin Hagenson, a resident of the Gilman community for many years, passed away at Theda Park Hospital at Neenah on Saturday, Nov. 9th, 1957, at the age of 92 years.

 

Mary Romfoe was born in Stangvik, Norway on Aug. 9, 1865.  She came to the United States in 1886 and settled in the Yellow River country.

 

She is survived by four sons, John of Everett, Wash., Alto of Milwaukee, henry of Stanley and Elmer of Neenah; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Emers, Soldiers Grove, Mrs. Sam Dull, Tucumessi, N.M., and Mrs. Richard Mahoney, Neenah, Wis., one brother, Ole, one sister, Gertrude, in Norway.

 

A memorial service was held at the Keesler Funeral Home at Neenah and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Halveson at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Yellow River at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12th, with interment in the Yellow River Cemetery.   Pallbearers were Arne Bjerke, Elmer Bjerke, Ed Erickson, Leonard Oaseth, Leon Olson and Evan Almberg.
