Aumann, Jeanette  (02 JULY 1949)

Miss Jeanette Aumann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann of Loyal, and Garland Bentzler, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler, also of Loyal, were married on Saturday, July 2. The 8:30 a.m. nuptial mass was celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic church by the Rev. Fr. Edward Aumann of Milwaukee, uncle of the bride.

Mrs. Paul Ampe was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Anne Annen and Miss Leona Benitzler, sister of the groom. Doreen Aumann was flowergirl.

White satin was worn by the bride. The gown was styled with a peplum at the waist and ended in a long train. She had a veil and carried pink and white roses and sweet peas.

The bridal aides were attired in white, orchid and yellow taffeta gowns, fashioned with hoop skirts. They had matching gauntlets and shoulder corsages of white, yellow and pink carnations. White satin was worn by the flower girl, and her bouquet was a miniature of that carried by the bride.

Paul Ampe was best man. Other attendants of the groom were the bride’s brothers, Louis Aumann  of Loyal and Clarence Aumann of Marshfield. Ushers were Irban Aumann, brother of the bride, and George  Bentzler Jr. brother of the groom. Kenneth Bentzler was ring bearer.

A breakfast was served at the Ampe home here, and a reception and dinner was given at the home of the bride’s parents, with 75 guests attending. In the evening a dance was given at the Silver Dome, near Neillsville.

Guests from out of town were Mr. and Mrs.  Sam Cimarilin, Mr. and Mrss. Matt Bentzler, Stanley Morse, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Bentzler, Pat McGoigal and Miss Emma Bentzler of South Bend, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wende; of Hartford, Mrs. Rose Loos of Green Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bentzler of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. John Grutzik of City Point.

Both the bride and groom attended the Loyal high school. Mr. Bentzler is employed by the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Ind. His bride was also employed in that city. After they return from a wedding trip to California, the couple reside in South Bend.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
