Williams, Darlene Nettie May (Marriage - 28 May 1960)

 

Darlene Nettie May Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melford Williams, and John Charles Trogner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Trogner, both of Neillsville, were married May 28 at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Eisenmann in charge.  About 150 guests attended.

 

The bride wore a floor-length gown of nylon organza and Chantilly lace over taffeta.  It had a fitted bodice and a Sabrina neckline.  An organza cummerbund came to a bow in the back. The skirt was a bouffant style of organza, with lace overskirt.  She wore a shoulder-length veil of bridal illusion with an open crown and white pearls.

 

The maid of honor was Bettie Sydorowicz of Cedarburg. The bridesmaid was Dawn Smith of Milwaukee. The groomsman was Orin Williams of Neillsville; best man, Nick Sydorowicz; and ushers, Larry Wendt and Dennis Harcey.

 

Music was furnished by the children’s choir.

 

A reception was held in the V. F. W. Hall, with about 150 guests present.  The hall was decorated with pink tulips and lilies of the valley, pink and white candles and pink and white streamers and table decorations. 

 

The couple is on a honeymoon in southern Wisconsin; after which they will be at home in Neillsville.

 

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Richard King, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jacobi, Louie Finder and family, Orin Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jakobi, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Langfeldt and family, Charles Sydorowicz and family.
