Rossman, William, Mrs. (29 JUN 1885 - 22 MAY 1957)

 

Mrs. William Rossman, a resident of Chippewa Falls, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls Wednesday, May 22, 1957.  She was born in Clark Co., Wis. on June 29, 1885 and married William Rossman in Reseburg (Clark Co.) in 1900, and lived in Stanley until nine years ago when she made her home in Chippewa Falls.  Mrs. Rossman preceded her in death in 1943.

 

She is survived by two sons, Leonard of Route 1, Cornell, and John of Chippewa Falls; one son, Lawrence of Gilman preceded her in death in 1945.  One daughter also survives, Mrs. John (Irene) Erickson of Eau Claire,a nd one daughter, Mrs. John (Helen) Greeny of Siren preceded her in death in 1948.  The following brothers also survive: Sam Hagen and Elmer Hagen of Withee, Tony Hagen of Gilman, Olaf Moen of California, Chester Moen of Minnesota.   She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Edmund (Emma) Larson of Stanley, Mrs. Claude (Mabel) Henderson of Oregon, Mrs. Hugo (Tina) Walters of Withee and Mrs. Art (Ragna) Smasal of Withee; also 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley with the Rev. C. M. Schendel of Chippewa Falls officiating.  Interment was in the Stanley City Cemetery. He grandson and nephews served as pallbearers.
