Adamczyk, Mary (16 JUL 1889 - 13 APR 1957)

 

Mary Adamczyk, 67, passed away April 13, 1957 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Chicago, Ill.

 

Born July 16, 1889 in Philadelphia, Penn., she moved to Wisconsin in 1900 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Gronek, Sr., deceased, and lived on the farm located 6 miles east of Thorp and ¼ mile north, until 1906, when she went to live with her sister, Rose, in Chicago.

 

She was united in marriage to Anthony Adamczyk Oct. 16, 1907 at St. Michel’s Church, Chicago.

 

Mrs. Adamczyk was preceded in death by her husband in 1943?, one son, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Tillie Olszowski and Mrs. Antoinette Zych; Stanley Ol..ska?, son-in-law; 6 grandchildren; Mary Janczewski and husband Earl, Stanley Jr., Antoinette, Lottie, and Joseph Olszowka, and Richard Zych, and one great-grandchild, Debra Marie Janczewski; Mr. Stanley Gronek, Curtiss, Wis., brother; Mrs. Francis Paczkowski, Withee, Wis., and Miss Minnie ?, Chicago, Ill, sisters.

 

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. Saran, C.R., assisted by Rev. E. Golnik, C.R., and Rev. W. Bartylak, C.R., at St. Hedwig’s Church at 10:00 o’clock Tuesday, April 16, 1957.

 

The following served as pallbearers: Frank Gronek, Edward Gronek, Leon Patch, Charles Zielinski, Walter Janczewski, and Marion Wisniewski.

 

Interment took place at St. Adlebert Cemetery.
