Janesville Settlement (21 April 1960)

Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Barr entertained the following relatives Sunday in honor of Larry’s confirmation at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood: Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barr and daughters of Cameron; Mrs. Paul Marg of Eau Claire; Kurt Marg and son, Keith, of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Heck and sons, Christie; Mr. and Mrs. L. Celar and Mrs. Frank Celar of Seif.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielsen and family and Mrs. John Nielsen were Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen.

Roger Dillenbeck was a weekend guest of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dillenbeck in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Celar of Seif entertained the following for Easter dinner: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Krejci and Mr. and Mrs. L. Celar.

The Stir and Sew Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Ernst Baughman tonight (Thursday).

Pfc. Ernie Verhunce called on Harold Dillenbeck Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Armitage and sons of Neillsville and Mrs. Clint Asplin were Easter weekend guests of the Craig Asplin’s in Lena, Ill.  Mrs. Asplin stayed for a longer visit.

Mrs. Mike Podobnik and Mike, Jr., of Greenwood were Sunday guests of the Ernest Arches.
