Congratulations to Jerry Opelt who, Oct. 30, received the "Masonic Lodge Service to Fraternity" award to honor all his years of dedication to the Masons. Jerry has held several different positions both locally and statewide which included visiting and assisting at lodges in the area. In his 48 year membership, Jerry has been Lodge Master a number of times and has taken on the job for the 2011 term in the local Neillsville/Merrillan lodge. When asked why he had joined all those years ago, he stated he admired the group and the good works they do. Thanks Jerry for all the good work you do.
