Koschak, Barbara Ann (Marriage - 8 August 1959)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Barbara Ann Koschak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Koschak of Greenwood, and Donald Joseph Bobb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Bobb of Clintonville. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Edward Hartung.

For her wedding the bride chose a floor-length gown of white Chantilly lace over silk taffeta.  The very full skirt was edged in a border of lace with a full nylon tulle dust ruffle.  The fitted lace bodice was fashioned with a scalloped neckline and long tapered sleeves. Her finger tip veil of imported silk illusion lace was held in place by a Queen’s crown of seed pearls.  An orchid surrounded by stephanotis formed her bouquet.

Miss Koschak was attended by her four sisters.  Miss Francis Koschak was maid-of-honor, and the Misses Kathleen and Bernadine Koschak were her bridesmaids.  Miss Mary Jo served as junior bridesmaid.

David Hassel of Appleton attended Mr. Bobb as bestman.  His groomsmen were David Daniels of Shawano; Paul Werner of New London, and Henry Lamrec, Jr. of Greenwood. Donald Lesar of Milwaukee ushered.

Following the ceremony dinner and supper was served in the church hall, with a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride, a graduate of the Greenwood High School, is also a graduate of Wisconsin State College in Whitewater and has been teaching in the Wautoma schools.  She was affiliated with the Delta Zeta Social Sorority.  The groom was graduated from Clintonville high School, Oshkosh Business College and Wisconsin State College in Whitewater.  He will teach next school term in Almond.  He is a member of Phi Chi Epsilon social fraternity.

Guests were from Clintonville, Bear Creek, Chicago, Milwaukee, Hathy, Shawano, New London, Appleton, Marshfield, Willard, Wisconsin Rapids, Pardeeville, and Waukegan, Ill.
