Budzynski, Isabelle E. (2 OCT 1899 - 20 JUN 1956)

 

Mrs. John (Isabelle E.) Budzynski, 56, N. 20th St., a lifelong resident of Superior, died Wednesday morning, June 20th, 1956, at a Superior hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was the wife of John P. Budzynski, a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

She was born Oct. 2, 1899.  She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, the Catholic Daughters of America, Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of Cathedral parish.  She graduated from Central High School and Superior State College, and was a member of the Wis. state College Alumni Association.

 

She is survived by her husband, John P.; a son, John V., Adrian, Mich.; grandson, John Michael, Adrian; her mother, Mrs. John Maley, Superior; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Underhill of Superior, Miss Lucy Maley, Superior, and Mrs. Ann Scharte, Duluth.

 

Last rites were held for the deceased at the Cathedral of Christ the King at Superior on Friday morning at 9:00 o’clock, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Alphonse Kress officiating, and burial being made in Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Thomas Barnaby, C. W. Rehmstrand, John Odlevak, Frank Lavelle, Edmund T. Quinn and Louis Osredkar.

 

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Vincent Budzynski, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gurnie and son Mark, Mrs. Ann Budd, Mrs. Mary Yrban and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Budzynski, all of St. Paul, Mrs. Joe Slota of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Pearl Soderberg of Thorp, and Miss Tillie Zukowski and Mr. Louie Zukowski of Chippewa Falls.
