Bartoszewski, Kazmier #2 (19 FEB 1875 - 27 MAR 1956)

 

Funeral services were conducted by Father Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in the city at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31st, for Kazmier Bartoszewski, 81, who passed away at the Stanley Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 1956.

 

The deceased was born in Poland on Feb. 19, 1875, where he grew to manhood and was united in marriage to Julia Krol.  He came to America in November 1901 and located in LaSalle, Ill., where he resided for a year, and moved to Peru, Ill., making his home there for 12 years.  The family came to this part of Wisconsin thirty-three years ago and settled near Lublin, coming to the city of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) six years ago.

 

Besides his wife, he is survived by six sons, Vincent of North Lake, Ill., Stanley, John and Edward of Chicago, Alfred of Ogema, Wis., and Joe of Thorp; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Rzepkowski and Mrs. Helen Tyminski of Chicago, twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Four daughters preceded him in death, Lillian Gierat, Sophie Cuddleback, Adeline Staron and Stephanie Bartoszewski.

 

Interment took place in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Joe Moczarny, Paul Konieczny, Peter Jenkot, Stanley Bielecki, Frank Penkala and Martin Penk.

 

Relatives here to attend the funeral of Mr. Bartoszewski were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bartoszewski, Mr. and Mrs. John Bartoszewski, Donald and Shirley, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bartoszewski and Geraldine, Mrs. Mary Rzepkowski, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tyminski, Albin, Leona and Janet Tyminski, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Giervat and Victor and Joan Giervat, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bednarski, Des Plaines, Ill., Vincent Krol, Rib Lake, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Bartoszewski, North Lake, Ill., and Alfred Bartoszewski of Ogema, Wis.
