Heintz, Jake (21 MAY 1883 - 13 NOV 1951)

 

Rev. Lee Holmes conducted the funeral service at the Myre Funeral Home last Friday for Jake Heintz, 68, route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

Mr. Heintz passed away at his home from a heart attack earlier in the week.  Burial took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

The deceased was born in Watertown on May 21, 1883.  In 1915 he was married in Marshfield to Margaret Junk.  It was about 57 years ago that he moved to his present farm in the Town of Loyal.

 

Among the survivors are four sons, Frank, Leo and William of Greenwood, and Edward, Town of Loyal; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Carrie) Marks, Silver Creek, N.Y., and Mrs. Lonny (Annie) Morse, Christie; a brother, Matt Heintz, Loyal; and three grandchildren.

 

At the funeral services, Mrs. John Olson sang "In the Garden" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye."  Mrs. Byron Zepplin accompanied on the organ.

 

Pallbearers were Bert Brown, James White, Adolph Wolske, Tony Walter, John Goetz and Herb White.
