McHone, Elmer Forest (17 April 1927 - 7 March 1959)

 

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Elmer Forest McHone, 31, St. Paul, Minn.  He died Saturday in Mercy Hospital in Janesville, where he had been employed for the last five months.  Death was attributed to a heart condition.

 

The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery.

 

Mr. McHone was born April 17, 1927, in the Town of Fremont.  His education was received in the Town of Fremont and Price County Schools.  He was married June 2, 1949, to the former Violet Johnson at Crystal Falls, Mich.

 

He served in WWII, having served in the navy.

 

He is survived by his wife and a son, Theron; his mother, Mrs. Dora McHone, a sister, Mrs. Howard (Jennie) Drake, both of Poynette; and a brother, Clarence, of Janesville.
