Humbird, Wisconsin Locals (December - 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rosalock of Eau Claire were dinner and supper guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alton Stallard and daughter, Kathy, of Eau Claire visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hart.

 

Woody and Roy Jeffery of Chickasha, Okla., called on friends here Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hanby of Alma Center called on Mr. and Mrs. Will Ringrose recently.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Campbell of Eau Claire were here Saturday to help Mrs. Sam Newton celebrate her birthday.  Mrs. Thane Joos and children of Alma Center came in the afternoon to enjoy coffee and cake with them.  In the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Russell, and Sandra and Hally of Sparta drove here to add their bit to the event.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe and Mrs. Clouse have been flu victims, but at this writing are feeling better. Several have had 24-hour flu and Charles Hart is reported to have been ill with it.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lueth spent Christmas with his people at Curtiss.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Laffe were guests Christmas day of their son, Herman and his family in the Fairview community.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stanley returned to Milwaukee Sunday afternoon after spending a few days with her parents. Their son Randy went back with them and will attend school in Milwaukee.
