Lindberg, Lenore Ellen (Marriage - 15 Oct. 1960)

Miss Lenore Ellen Lindberg and Gary Gebert exchanged marriage vows Saturday morning, Oct. 15, at St. Bernard’s Catholic church. The Rev. Raymond Schulz witnessed the ceremony and officiated at the nuptial high mass.

The bride’s mother is Mrs. Roger Anderson of Marshfield and the parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gebert of Stetsonville.

John D. Lindberg, older brother of the bride, gave her in marriage.

For her wedding, the bride chose a ballerina length gown of white chiffon with a shirred bodice. A jeweled cap held her finger tip veil and she carried a spray of red roses and white carnations.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gebert Jr., of Wausau and Miss Alice Voelker of Abbotsford and Wayne Gebert completed the bridal party. Miss Voelker is a friend of the bride and the groom’s attendants are his brothers.

The matron of honor and bridesmaid wore ballerina length dresses of white organdy with green embroidery threaded through the skirts. They had head pieces of green net and carried sprays of pink and white carnations.

About 150 guests attended a 4:30 o’clock dinner served at the Abbotsford high school and the reception at the V.F.W. Hall at Medford.

Mr. and Mrs. Gebert are making their home in Milwaukee where he is employed as a welder at American Motors.

Guests at the wedding were from Stetsonville, Colby, Marshfield, Medford, Wausau, Spencer, Milwaukee, Aniwa, Dorchester, Withee, Owen and Round Lake, Ill.
