Helm, Florence (7 OCT 1950)

In a double ring ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Church in Altoona by the Rev. Fr. James Noonan, Miss Florence Helm of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Helm of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Lowell T. Christison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Turner of Eau Claire, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 1950.

Wearing a beige suit with brown accessories and an orchid corsage, the bride was attended by Mrs. James Cottrell of Eau Claire, who wore a dusty pink suit and had a corsage of white roses and mums.  Mr. Cottrell was best man.

Mrs. Helm wore a navy blue print dress and blue accessories for the ceremony, and Mrs. Turner chose a forest green ensemble.  Both mothers wore corsages of white gardenias and stephanotis.

After a brief wedding trip through eastern Wisconsin, the couple returned on Oct. 10 to live at 811 North Sixth Street in Eau Claire.

The bride, who graduated from the Loyal High School with the class of 1945, has been employed by station WRFW at Eau Claire, and Mr. Christison is employed at the same station as continuity director and announcer.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the future.
